The very architecture of the Mac makes it a superior machine, both in terms of its power, and in terms of its operation. Windows later gave PCs a similar cabability, but it certainly does not have the user friendliness of the mac. The intuitive system, using concepts like desktop, files, folders gave a visual image of how the computer stored information using the language of a home office with a desk and file cabinets. You could point and click and did not have to start out knowing many keyboard commands. Macs have been built with a graphic user interface from the beginning. However, there are objective considerations, too. To a certain extent it is a matter of personal choice.
